Wale Forrester and Justin Forsett, founders of Hustle Clean, created Free Play to address the growing trend of children from vulnerable communities being priced out of youth sports and activities. Both Wale and Justin benefited from youth sports, gaining mentorship and earning scholarships to the University of California, Berkeley. Sports paved the way for their futures—Justin went on to play nine years in the NFL, while Wale became a firefighter. they eventually created Hustle Clean a personal care brand for athletes and adventure sports.
